Jim Cannon serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for Hexcel Corporation and the Association of the United States Army. Since September 2021, Cannon has held the position of President & CEO at AM General LLC, a leading manufacturer of tactical vehicles. Previously, Cannon was the President and CEO of FLIR Systems, leading a significant company transformation, and served as a Member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Governance Committee at Lydall until its sale in 2021. Cannon's extensive background at Stanley Black & Decker involved multiple leadership roles with full P&L responsibility, driving significant turnarounds and market expansions. Prior experience includes a Lean Manufacturing Manager role at Eaton Corporation and a decade of service in the US Army, where Cannon was a combat veteran of Desert Storm. Cannon holds a degree in Business with a focus on Marketing from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
