Katie Mountford has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Katie currently works as a Channel Marketing Manager at The AMES Companies, Inc., where they support the merchandising efforts and strategic analysis for annual business plans. Previously, they founded and served as the Creative Director of CreativeKT Design, a calligraphy-based design studio targeting the wedding and hand-lettering consumer markets.

Katie has also worked at The Walt Disney Company as an eCommerce Help and Support Agent, where they provided assistance and support to guests and cast members with their website experience. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Creative Design Director at Creative Converting, where they managed the timeliness and resource management of the creative team and participated in meetings with company leadership. Katie also held various roles within the company, such as Senior Design Manager, Design Manager, and Senior Designer, where they managed design work for clients like Walmart and Target.

Additionally, Katie has experience as a children's book illustrator for The Notre Dame Spirit Children's Book and as a lead illustrator for the University of Cambridge's Festival of Ideas. Katie started their career at Morr-Sharp Associates, LLC as an Inside Sales/Outside Sales Assistant, where they liaised with architects, designers, engineers, and contractors and managed internal design and marketing projects.

Katie Mountford attended Park Tudor School from 1998 to 2002 and earned their high school degree. Katie then went on to study at the University of Notre Dame from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Industrial Design. After a gap of a few years, they pursued further education at the Cambridge School of Art in the United Kingdom from 2010 to 2012, completing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Children's Book Illustration.
