Bruce Sekanick FAIA OAA is a highly experienced architect and leader within the American Institute of Architects (AIA), serving as Chair of the AIA Center for Practice and AXP Advisor for AIA Eastern Ohio. With a career spanning several decades, Bruce has held various leadership roles including Director and Past President of AIA Eastern Ohio, and Regional Director for the Ohio Valley Region on the AIA National Board of Directors. Recognized for contributions to the profession, Bruce received the AIA Ohio Gold Medal in 2018 and has been crucial in initiatives supporting registration candidates and architectural education. Bruce's architectural practice, Phillips/Sekanick Architects, caters to a wide geographic area, with professional licenses in 22 states and Ontario, Canada.
