Peter has deep corporate governance and finance expertise and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Chartered Governance Institute. He is currently the Company Secretary for Aviva Life and Pensions Ireland.

Prior to that he held a number of governance, finance and business management roles in Bank of Ireland Group and New Ireland Assurance. He has also worked for Deloitte in both London and Dublin.
