Steve Thomas is an experienced risk management professional with a robust background in consulting and quantitative analysis. Currently serving as an Associate at The Alliance Risk Group, LLC since July 2020, Thomas has also held a long-term role as a Senior Risk Consultant at Old Dartmouth Consulting since March 2013, focusing on regulatory compliance and risk assessment for major New York financial institutions. Previous positions include Director of Commodities Risk Management at Credit Suisse, where oversight of market risk for the commodities trading operations was managed, and Senior Risk Consultant at Old Dartmouth Consulting, specializing in energy trading and risk management. An educational background includes a Master of Science in Technology & Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
