Russell Long is the Founder and CEO of Long Capture since October 2017 and a Founding Member of The Alliance for Commercial Technology in Government since December 2020. Long has extensive experience in contracting and management, having served in various roles at the United States Air Force from May 2012 to February 2018, including Contracting Officer at the Space and Missile Systems Center, where responsibilities included overseeing $1 billion in space-related contracting and providing acquisition strategies. Long has held significant managerial positions, including Deputy Chief of Specialized Support Branch and Deputy Chief of Construction Support Branch, managing portfolios totaling hundreds of millions in support of multiple mission partners. Education includes a B.S. in Business Administration from the United States Air Force Academy and an M.S. in Entrepreneurship from Oklahoma State University.
