Matthew Malishev is a highly experienced professional in project management and data visualization, currently serving as a Project Manager for The Age since March 2022. Matthew has a strong background in computational modeling and data analysis, having worked as a Computational Modeller at Emory University and as a Project Manager for Spatial Simulation Modelling at the Centre of Excellence for Biosecurity Risk Analysis. Matthew has also held teaching roles at the University of Melbourne and Monash University, instructing a diverse range of undergraduate and master's level courses. With a PhD in Computational Biology from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor's degree in Ecology from Monash University, Matthew has published multiple peer-reviewed papers and has presented at numerous international conferences. Additional experience includes roles in climate policy management at World Vision Australia and organizational leadership as President of Embrace Education.
