Anne Applebaum is an experienced policy manager currently serving at The Advocates for Human Rights since October 2023. Previously, Anne owned Applebaum Consulting LLC, specializing in training, advising, and advocacy related to domestic violence survivors and victim service providers. As the Housing & Economic Justice Policy Program Manager at Violence Free Minnesota, Anne focused on advocating for housing solutions rooted in equity and trauma-informed principles. With a strong background in pro bono legal services, Anne held the position of Pro Bono Director at the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota, overseeing significant programs for low-income immigrants and refugees. Anne's legal career began with various roles, including associate positions in law firms and positions as a student attorney. Anne holds a JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a BA in Government from Skidmore College.
