Mak Andrews has seven years of work experience. Mak began their career in 2013 as a Junior Accountant at Business Results Group. Mak then worked as an Instructor at Blokart Heaven in 2014. In 2015, they were a Senior Accountant at KPMG New Zealand. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at Excellence Logging as a Finance Integration Manager, at Asahi International as a Financial Accountant, and at YouGov as a Management Accountant. Currently, they are the Head Of Finance at The Adventure People.

Mak Andrews is a full member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, having achieved this status in 2018. From 2015 to 2016, they completed a Bachelor's Degree at Waikato Institute of Technology. Prior to this, from 2013 to 2014, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from The University of Waikato. Mak's educational history is completed with their attendance at Tauranga Boys College from 2008 to 2012.
