Dipu Patel is an Advisor at The Able Channel. Previously, Dipu was the Director of Clinical Pathways at DayToDay Health, where they oversaw a collaborative team of OKR and KPI-driven Pathways Managers to develop a deep understanding of the patient journey with surgical staff at hospital partners. At DayToDay Health, Dipu was responsible for strategic product planning to identify and scale delivery of app features and capabilities to develop new features. Dipu utilized Jira and Confluence across sales, research, product, and UX teams to develop and deliver holistic content through sprint planning. Dipu also supported the sales team with storyboarding and slide decks as needed.

During their time at DayToDay Health, Dipu developed and scaled over 60 HIPAA-compliant surgical and chronic disease pathways in various verticals (cardiovascular, orthopedics, oncology, gastrointestinal/general surgery, neurology, genitourinary, coloproctology, maternity, and COVID-19) to aid in patient support and outcomes. To develop these pathways, Dipu conducted a broad literature review, environmental scanning, and competitor analysis to understand and apply industry standards and trends to product. Dipu also collaborated and developed partnerships to drive and operationalize novel pathways translating to exceptional patient experience and meeting the needs of partnering hospitals using remote patient monitoring data.

In addition to their work developing pathways, Dipu also worked closely with medical writers to generate a library of disease-specific educational content that is medically accurate, and direct timing for content delivery through the app. Dipu partnered with research team on clinical outcomes data collection methodology and analysis to improve delivery of product for clients. Dipu also implemented quality improvement through the validation and review of existing pathways using patient reported outcomes data and evolution in the standard of care.

Dipu has experience conducting trainings for both internal and external stakeholders on care plans. Dipu has a deep understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies and NLP in the context of data collection. Dipu is also proficient in Jira, Confluence, Miro, Monday.com, Microsoft Suite, and Google Suite products.
