Cynthia Ambres MD, MS, is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in medical leadership and consulting. Currently serving as a Fractional Chief Medical Officer at Affineon Health, Cynthia focuses on AI-based solutions to optimize provider workflows. As a founding member and Chief at an unnamed company from December 2020 to December 2023, Cynthia contributed to significant healthcare initiatives. Previously, as the first Chief Medical Officer of Kate Farms, Cynthia advanced plant-based nutrition for various populations. Other roles include CEO of Health and Beyond LLC and Partner at KPMG, where strategic healthcare transformation was emphasized. Cynthia has held leadership positions in multiple organizations, impacting healthcare policy, wellness, and clinical innovation. An accomplished academic, Cynthia holds an MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and additional degrees in acupuncture, health policy, and management, as well as a BS in Chemistry/Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
