Z (Zhaida) Wilbanks is a dedicated professional with a robust background in mental health outreach and environmental law. Currently serving as a Mental Health Outreach Specialist at The 4 Corners Rainbow Youth Center, Wilbanks previously held roles including Environmental Law Intern at Earth Law Center, Associate at Sherwin-Williams, and NAGPRA intern at Fort Lewis College Center of Southwest Studies. Wilbanks also gained leadership experience as Student Body President and Senator for the Associated Students of Fort Lewis College, advocating for critical issues such as mental health and housing insecurity. An internship with Montezuma Land Conservancy focused on cultural access for Indigenous peoples, while radio hosting for KDUR showcased a passion for music and community engagement. Wilbanks earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Fort Lewis College and has a rich history of volunteerism and hands-on experience in various fields.
