Joey Rivera is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in financial management and oversight. Currently serving as Accounting Manager at THC Design since September 2021, Joey manages accounts receivable and payable operations, assists with month-end closing procedures, and ensures the accuracy of financial transactions. Previously, as Senior Accountant at Columbia Care, Joey implemented new accounting procedures for various departments and oversaw full cycle accounting. Earlier roles include Staff Accountant positions at Spearmint Rhino Worldwide, Inc. and Asahi Intecc USA, Inc., where Joey handled daily sales processes and payment reconciliations. Joey began the accounting career as a Bookkeeper for various rental properties and held a merchandising position at Nabisco. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from New Mexico State University.
