Derrick Sesson is a professional in the VFX industry, currently serving as a Staff Facial Modeler at Digital Domain since August 2020. Concurrently, Derrick holds the position of Supervisor at Think Tank Training Centre, guiding students in their introduction to VFX and portfolio development, while also working as an Instructor for The Gnomon Workshop, where Derrick created a course on facial blendshapes in Maya. Derrick's previous experience includes roles as Modeling/Texturing Supervisor and Staff VFX Artist at The Mill, as well as several freelance positions at companies like Digital Domain, Blind, and LOGAN & SONS, dating back to 2012.
