Tom White FRSA MIET is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation, net zero initiatives, and maritime technology. Currently serving as the Innovation and Net Zero Director at Thames Freeport since May 2023, Tom leads strategic partnerships and market development in key growth sectors. As Vice President of Innovation and Place at ELIRE Group, Tom focuses on floating infrastructure solutions for energy transition. Prior roles include serving as a Net Zero and Innovation Advisor for the Inland Waterways Association, Head of Engagement at Rolls-Royce, and Ecosystem Director at Connected Places Catapult. Tom possesses a strong background in leading innovation strategies, collaborative research, and community engagement, complemented by a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Studies from The Open University.
