Sergio Calella is an accomplished Solution Architect at Thales Alenia Space since October 2021, with a robust background in systems architecture and management. Prior to this role, Sergio served as System V&V Manager at ADAM SA, overseeing the verification and validation of the LIGHT proton therapy system from January 2017 to September 2021. Sergio’s expertise extends back to Thales, where important contributions as Systems Architect were made in conventional ground-based navigation systems from September 2012 to December 2016. Earlier career experiences include System/Software Architect and Software Engineer positions at TXT e-solutions from January 1996 to August 2012 and a scholarship focused on algorithm analysis at CNR-IAMI from February 1995 to January 1996. Sergio holds a Laurea Magistrale in Scienze dell'Informazione from Università degli Studi di Bari.
