Ileana Milani is a Navigation System Engineer at Thales Alenia Space since July 2020, focusing on the Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS) and performance analysis in support of the European Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA). Previously, Ileana served as a Research Scientist at Sapienza Università di Roma from 2016 to June 2020, contributing to localization research using Wi-Fi signals and developing innovative techniques for indoor positioning. Ileana holds a PhD in Information and Communications Technologies with a specialization in Radar and Remote Sensing from Sapienza Università di Roma, where research included Wi-Fi-based passive radar techniques and sensor fusion. Educational background includes a bachelor's and master's degree in Communication Engineering from the same institution, alongside a Scientific High School Diploma from Liceo Scientifico Lazzaro Spallanzani.
