Mark Omobono currently serves as a Senior Engineer at TG Therapeutics, Inc. since June 2024. Previously, Mark held the position of Principal Scientist at Catamaran Bio from September 2021 to June 2024, where responsibilities included leading the development of a Phase 1 manufacturing process for multiplex-engineered NK cells and managing cross-functional teams in pre-IND development. Prior to this, Mark was a Senior Scientist at bluebird bio, contributing expertise in adoptive cell manufacturing and overseeing the operational management of a cellular material core function group. Mark's early career included significant roles at Genzyme and Massachusetts General Hospital, focusing on commercial cell culture development and interdisciplinary research in hydrogel scaffolds, respectively. Mark holds a Master of Liberal Arts in Biotechnology Management from Harvard Extension School and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
