Chuck Banken is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the fields of emulation, design verification, and hardware acceleration. Currently serving as an Emulation Product Engineer at Siemens Digital Software Industries since April 2017, Banken has contributed to the hardware acceleration of new ASIC and FPGA designs. With a background as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Tezzaron Semiconductor, Banken focused on design verification for 3-D DRAMs, significantly improving test efficiency. Previous roles include Technical Marketing Engineer at Mentor Graphics, Emulation Engineer at Calxeda, Applications Engineer at Cadence Design Systems, and various positions at Synopsys and Synplicity, emphasizing FPGA implementation and ASIC prototyping. Banken holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and Southern Methodist University, respectively.
