Shannon Mantaro serves as the Executive Director and Chief Officer at the Jane Nelson Institute for Women's Leadership since October 2023, and has been an Adjunct Professor at Texas Woman's University since September 2017, teaching courses such as Entrepreneurship and Women in Leadership. Previously, Shannon held various leadership roles including Senior Director of Operations and Director of the Center for Women Entrepreneurs at the Jane Nelson Institute, focusing on support for women business owners. Shannon also served as Interim Executive Director at the same institute, Executive Director of Hamilton Initiative, LLC at Colgate University overseeing multiple LLCs, Marketing & Operations Director at Operation Oswego County and Public Information Coordinator for the Oswego County Tourism and Public Information Office. Educational qualifications include an MS in Communications Management from Syracuse University and a BA in Communications/Journalism from St. John Fisher University.
