Deanna Calder is an accomplished higher education professional currently serving as the Director at Texas Tech University at Waco since September 2018. In this role, Deanna coordinates with various departments to support student services and provides critical input for academic programming. Previously, Deanna held positions as Lead Academic Advisor and Academic Advisor at Texas Tech University, overseeing advising for undergraduate students and facilitating successful transition experiences. Prior experience includes a Graduate Apprentice role at Baylor University focusing on engineering and computer science student development, as well as positions in sales and marketing at Oracle and Campus Crest. Deanna holds a Masterā€™s Degree in Education with a focus on Higher Education and Student Affairs, a Bachelorā€™s Degree in Marketing, and a Minor in Leadership Studies, all from Baylor University.
