Victoria Swenson, PhD, RPA, currently serves as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Texas State University since March 2024. Swenson has extensive teaching experience as a Lecturer in Introduction to Cultural Anthropology at Kaskaskia College since January 2018. Prior roles include Archaeologist and Field & Laboratory Technician at Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc., and Forensic Technician at the University of Nevada, Reno. Swenson has also worked as an Osteology, Lab and Field Instructor for the Slavia Foundation in Poland, and has held several academic assistantships. Education includes a PhD in Physical Anthropology from the University of Nevada, Reno, along with master’s degrees in Forensic Anthropology and Criminal Justice, and a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
