Harlan T. Beverly, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Instruction at Texas State University, where responsibilities include teaching a course on Technology Commercialization to PhD students in Materials Science and Computer Science. In parallel, Beverly works as the Chief Technology Officer at PTW, with a distinguished background including roles as Vice President of Technology at PTW and VP of Technology and Engineering at Mercado, where significant advancements in engineering velocity and new DevOps tools were implemented. Previous experience includes founding companies such as Freebeer.ai and Karmaback, along with leadership positions at Key Ingredient and Bigfoot Networks, where Beverly co-founded and developed networking technologies, resulting in multiple patents.
