Eva Pickens has a diverse work experience starting with their position as Director of Communications at Texas Southern University since 2008. Eva also served as President/CEO of Kalatrese Candy Bouquet & Gifts from 2002 until the present. Prior to that, they worked at the Gulf Coast Community Services Association as Director of Communication/Community Relations from 2005 to 2008.

Eva Pickens obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge in 1977.
