Trevor S. Mitchell has been working in the field of Association Management for over ten years. Trevor began their career as Executive Director of Membership & Technology for ARMA International in 2006. In this role, Trevor was responsible for implementing various key strategic initiatives, projects, and teams that supported and promoted the organizational growth based on the association's strategic plan. Key areas of emphasis for Trevor were Membership Recruitment, Retention, Engagement, Customer Services, Chapters and Volunteers, Global Development and Growth, IT, Conference and Events and Government Relations. Trevor also served on the Executive Management Team that focused on key strategic and operational functions of the organization.
Under Trevor's leadership, membership at ARMA International grew by 125% within 10 months of implementation of a new membership structure designed to eliminate barriers and provide flexibility in offerings. Trevor also successfully redirected a website and e-commerce project to successful implementation within 6 months and within budget. The project resulted in an increase of cross-promotion of all offerings leading to an additional $50K in publication sales, increased traffic flow to and throughout the site, and higher satisfaction ratings of site usage.
In addition, Trevor created and deployed the organization’s inaugural Information Technology strategy. This led to an increase in productivity of IT staff and overall staff efficiency by eliminating an average of 3,000 staff man-hours annually. Trevor also has a degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing & Management from Columbia College. Trevor S. Mitchell is certified by USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace and by the National Diversity Council as a Certified Diversity Professional. Trevor is also certified by the American Society of Association Executives as a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
