Ben Knorr is the sponsor development manager and assistant controller at the Texas Restaurant Association. Ben previously worked as the controller for Mandola's Italian Market from September 2015 to February 2020. In this role, they managed 3 employees and all financial operations for 5 restaurants with total annual revenues of over $18MM. Ben was also responsible for overseeing daily cash flow management, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting for each restaurant, as well as monthly reconciliation, accounts receivable and payable accounts, and payroll for 300+ employees. Additionally, Knorr analyzed and managed inventory and pricing in accounting software, Compeat Advantage, and supervised human resources operations for all entities while maintaining employee records. Ben also tracked and filed monthly sales and use tax and franchise tax reports to the State of Texas, and produced monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for ownership, internal management, and external auditors. Most notably, Knorr played a vital role in opening a new restaurant in 2018 by managing a $2.2MM bank loan and draw schedule.

Ben Knorr has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Management from St. Edward's University, a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Management from New Mexico State University, and a bachelor's degree from The University of New Mexico. Ben also has certifications from Delphi and SHRM in Delphi New Employee Certification and Essentials of HR Management, respectively.
