Alex Petak is an accomplished attorney with expertise in utility regulation and law. Currently serving as an Enforcement Attorney at Texas Reliability Entity, Inc. since December 2019, Alex previously held the position of Staff Attorney at the Public Utility Commission of Texas from April 2015 to September 2019, where responsibilities included representing the state in electricity, water, and telecommunications proceedings. Additional experience includes roles as Special Projects Coordinator at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, Water Law Attorney at Caddo Lake Institute, and a summer associate position at Bernhoft Law Firm, alongside a judicial internship with the Honorable George C. Hanks, Jr. at the Federal Judiciary. Alex received a law degree from The University of Texas School of Law and holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.
