Scott Houston currently serves as the Intergovernmental Relations Manager at the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool, a position held since August 2021, where responsibilities include educating elected officials, managers, and attorneys about the TML Risk Pool. Prior to this role, Scott held positions as an Attorney and Counselor at Law with TML Intergovernmental Risk Pool and Texas Municipal League from December 2020 to February 2022, and served as Deputy Executive Director and General Counsel for Texas Municipal League from April 2000 until December 2020. Scott Houston holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from St. Mary's University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from Texas A&M University.
