Raquelle Lewis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications and public affairs, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at CenterPoint Energy and Success House A Road to Recovery, Inc. Since March 2008, Raquelle has held the position of Director for Southeast Texas Communications/Public Information Officer at the Texas Department of Transportation, overseeing communications for over 50 counties, including major urban areas. Raquelle has also served as Interim Chief Communications Officer, orchestrating TxDOT's communication strategy and managing media relations. Raquelle's earlier career includes various leadership roles at Parsons Brinkerhoff and the Texas Southern University Center for Transportation Training & Research. Raquelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and has pursued graduate studies in Sociology at Texas Southern University, among other educational qualifications.
