Katelyn Dwyer has extensive experience in public administration and transportation policy, currently serving as Deputy Chief of Staff at the Texas Department of Transportation since March 2018. Dwyer has held multiple significant roles within the department, including Director of Commission Support, Federal Affairs Liaison, and Policy Analyst. Prior to this, Dwyer worked at AASHTO as Program Manager and Program Specialist from August 2015 to February 2018. Additional experience includes a Project Coordinator role at AARP and various internships with organizations such as the United States Senate and U.S. House of Representatives. Dwyer holds a Master of Public Administration from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, along with training from the I-95 Corridor Coalition Freight Academy in 2017.
