Dean Carpenter Turner, Ed.D., possesses extensive experience in education and professional development, currently serving as a Training Specialist at the Texas Department of Transportation since June 2020. In addition to administrative roles, Dean has been an Adjunct Professor at Park University since September 2011 and at Fletcher Technical Community College since March 2017, teaching various art history courses. Previous positions include Faculty Coordinator at The Art Institute of Austin, where responsibilities encompassed faculty management and curriculum development, and Department Chair at The Art Institute of Atlanta. Dean has contributed to numerous institutions in various capacities, focusing on curriculum design, faculty mentoring, and student success initiatives, bolstered by a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and multiple degrees in Fine Arts and Communications.
