Arlin Alvarez, M.Ed., SHRM-CP, serves as the Statewide Wellness Program Administrator for the Texas Department of Transportation since January 2015, overseeing a wellness program that caters to over 13,000 employees throughout Texas. Prior experience includes roles as Program Manager, Student Conduct Specialist, Division of Housing Liaison, and Residence Hall Coordinator at The University of Texas at Austin from July 2010 to December 2014. Arlin Alvarez holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Texas Tech University and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Public Health from The University of Texas at El Paso.
