Janeen Carter possesses extensive experience in compliance and administrative review roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Administrative Review Specialist at the Texas Department of Agriculture since June 2018, Janeen conducts administrative reviews for food and nutrition programs while implementing best practices for compliance. Prior experience includes serving as Trust Accounting and Compliance Manager at Carriage Services, where coordination of trust regulatory audits was a key responsibility, and as Senior Compliance Manager at EXL, overseeing a compliance team and managing complex regulatory reporting. Earlier in Janeen's career, significant contributions were made as a Senior Accountant/Team Lead at Service Corporation International, where enhancements to accounting systems and SOX compliance support were achieved. Janeen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Professional Accountancy, both from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
