Cheryl Harding, Ph.D., serves as the President and CEO of the James L. West Center for Dementia Care since February 2018. In addition, Cheryl holds an adjunct faculty position at Texas Christian University, teaching Introduction to Aging. Cheryl's previous roles include Vice President and Senior Executive Director at Wesley Court Retirement Community and several positions at Sears Methodist Retirement System, such as Interim Chief Operating Officer and Vice President/Administrator. Cheryl has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Abilene Christian University and the University of North Texas. Cheryl earned a Ph.D. in Family Studies with an emphasis in Gerontology from Texas Woman's University, alongside a BS and MEd in Family Studies and Educational Administration from the University of Louisiana Monroe.
