Uzair Jilani has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Uzair began their career in 2016 as a Team Supervisor at ROBERTS NATIONWIDE SUPPORT SERVICES LIMITED, where they worked in the security industry, providing services to commercial and private clients. In this role, they ensured safety and security at various sites and events, supervised a security team, and managed scheduling and administration tasks.

In 2018, Uzair joined Regents Samsic as a Security Supervisor, where they continued to oversee security operations until 2019.

Uzair then transitioned to Tevva Hydrogen Electric Trucks, starting as an EV Systems Graduate Engineer in 2019. Uzair gained experience in electric vehicle systems until 2021 when they became an Engineer with the company. In their most recent role at Tevva Hydrogen Electric Trucks, starting in May 2022, Uzair serves as the Lead Engineer for Drive and Brake Systems.

Uzair Jilani completed their education in Mechanical Engineering. Uzair obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anglia Ruskin University, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Foundation degree in Mechanical Engineering at ARU College from 2013 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement from IMI in October 2019.
