Hashim Alam is an experienced Process Safety Engineer with a strong background in engineering and safety consultancy. Currently employed at Tetrosyl Group Limited since September 2021, Hashim previously held similar roles at Yorkshire Water and Evonik, where expertise in process safety and plant operations was developed. A Technis Certified Reliability and Functional Safety Engineer, Hashim’s career began with Engineering Safety Consultants Ltd. as a Consultant, followed by volunteer work with Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service, enhancing community fire safety education. Hashim’s educational foundation includes a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds and a Maths for Science course from The Open University, complemented by early retail and customer service roles that fostered strong interpersonal skills.
