Brian West has extensive experience in engineering and management, having served as Director of Mechanical Engineering at Applied Materials from August 1995 until retirement in April 2021. Prior to this role, Brian held the position of Senior Engineer Manager in New Product Development Engineering and contributed to the 200mm Legacy Products Group. Earlier experience includes a role as a Mechanical Engineer at Multichip Assembly Inc., focusing on custom module assembly operations, and as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, where responsibilities included evaluating and procuring manufacturing equipment. Currently, Brian works as a Wine Enthusiast at Testarossa Winery, where duties involve pouring wine and leading winery tours. Brian holds a BSGE degree in Mechanical Materials from San Jose State University.
