Rounaq Dhar is currently engaged in special projects related to sales, service, and delivery at Tesla since 2024, focusing on strategy, operations, and execution. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant at McKinsey & Company from 2022 to 2024, where Rounaq worked on various projects across TMT, consumer, energy, and digital sectors, and co-led MBA recruiting efforts. A summer consultant at McKinsey in 2021, Rounaq contributed to a multi-billion dollar TMT client by designing an agile framework and leading critical workstreams. Previous roles include Product Management/EIR at Urban Company in 2020, where Rounaq launched AI-integrated tools and new product offerings, and a Senior Field Engineer at Schlumberger from 2016 to 2020, implementing tech-driven solutions and managing high-stakes operations in the oil and gas sector. Rounaq holds an MBA from The Wharton School with a double major in Operations and Management and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
