Pei Zhu is a highly experienced professional in the field of battery technology and material science, currently serving as a Senior Battery Development Engineer for the Automotive Program at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. since March 2022. Prior to this role, Pei Zhu worked as a Scientist at LifeLabs Design, Inc. and EEnotech, Inc., where involvement included the commercialization of patented technology from Stanford University. Earlier experience includes research as a Research Assistant at NC State University, focusing on nanostructured polymers for lithium batteries, and at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, contributing to projects aimed at developing environmentally friendly coatings and investigating product performance related to textile care. Pei Zhu holds a Ph.D. in Fiber and Polymer Science from North Carolina State University, a Master of Engineering in Textile Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Light-chemical Engineering, all from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University.
