Nadeesha Amarasinghe is an experienced professional in AI infrastructure and engineering, currently working at Tesla since May 2018, where responsibilities include leading a team focused on AI inference and infrastructure for Full Self-Driving (FSD) and Optimus projects. Key areas of expertise include graph capture, quantization, low precision training, model compression, and optimizing neural networks for hardware acceleration. Previous experience includes engineering roles at Apple, contributing to the wireless subsystem for iPhone X and 11, and at NVIDIA, involved in power system architecture within datacenter GPUs. Nadeesha also served as a research assistant at the University of Toronto, focusing on chip-to-chip communication systems. Nadeesha holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science (Electrical and Computer Engineering) and a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Toronto.
