Di Wu is a highly experienced Staff Human Factors Engineer currently employed at Tesla since December 2024. Prior to this role, Di Wu served as a Technical Specialist in Human Factors at Lucid Motors from July 2021 to December 2024 and as a UX Research Engineer focusing on Human Factors at Ford Motor Company from June 2018 to July 2021. At Ford, responsibilities included conducting UX research on ergonomics and human-machine interface execution and strategizing the vision for the next generation of electric vehicle cabin experiences. Di Wu's earlier experience includes a role in Product Development (HMI) at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where key tasks involved developing prototype vehicle architecture and conducting virtual validation using human model simulations. Di Wu holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Engineering Technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
