George Dikas is an accomplished professional in the field of data science, currently serving as the Head of Data Science at Tesco since November 2015, with a progressive career that includes roles as Principal Data Scientist and Lead Data Scientist among others. Prior to joining Tesco, George worked as a Freelance Consultant from January 2009 to October 2015. In addition to industry experience, George has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of the Aegean, teaching courses on Programming in MATLAB and Stochastic Systems. Educationally, George holds an Executive MBA from London Business School, a PhD in Operations Research, and an MSc in Financial and Management Engineering, both from the University of the Aegean.
