Swapnil Shashank is a seasoned data engineering professional currently serving as the Lead Data Engineer at Tesco Bengaluru since November 2022, where Swapnil has led the development of a company-wide Common Ingestion Framework to enhance data ingestion capabilities. Prior to this role, Swapnil held the position of Engineering Lead at Arcesium for a brief period, focusing on the implementation of a PySpark framework at JP Morgan to handle large volumes of data. With a significant tenure at Envestnet | Yodlee India from 2014 to 2022, Swapnil modernized the ETL platform, developed a data quality validation framework, and led various technical initiatives using Apache Spark and Scala. Swapnil's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology and ongoing advanced studies in Machine Learning and Deep Learning at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
