Shannon Prendergast currently holds the position of Associate Chemist at Terviva since June 2020. Prior to this role, Shannon gained experience as a Research Associate Intern in the Processing and Products R&D Lab at Terviva, where they worked on developing alternative food products from Pongamia beans. Shannon also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Hake Laboratory at UC Berkeley, as a Research Associate Intern at KWS Group, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Berkeley Food Institute. Shannon's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
