Andrés F. Acuña is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations management within the medical technology and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Factory Director/Site Manager at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies in Costa Rica, Andrés has successfully managed the transfer, start-up, ramp-up, and consolidation of the site. Prior roles include Director of Costa Rica Operations at MicroPort Orthopedics, where responsibilities encompassed engineering, R&D, and corporate shared services. Andrés also held managerial positions at Wright Medical Technology, Boston Scientific, Intel Corporation, and other firms, contributing to significant operational improvements and successful project implementations. Andrés holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University.
