Oltion Korini is a Research and Development Engineer at Terre Armee, focusing on reinforced earth structures, geotechnical finite element modeling, innovation in soil retaining systems, and managing industrial property. Prior to this role, Korini was a PhD candidate at Université Gustave Eiffel, researching the behavior and design of geosynthetic reinforced soil bunds under rock fall impacts. Korini has extensive engineering experience, including positions as a Senior Structural/Geotechnical Engineer at AlbEgis, where responsibilities included the analysis and design of bridges and overpasses, and various academic roles as a lecturer at multiple universities in subjects like Road Pavement Design and Soil Mechanics. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Geomechanics and Civil Engineering from Université Grenoble Alpes and multiple Master's degrees in Structural Engineering from Epoka University and Politechnic University Tirana.
