Donald E. Stief has extensive work experience in engineering and project management. Donald E. started their career in 1965 as an Assistant Project Engineer at Heyl and Patterson, where they later became a Project Engineer. In 1966, they joined Koppers, where they worked as a Chief Systems Engineer. From 1966 to 1986, they also held the role of Chief Engineer at Koppers Hardinge. In 1966, they started working at MPSI as a Chief Systems Engineer, and later became the Chief Systems/Engineer until 1986. Donald E. then joined Pennsylvania Crusher Corporation as the Chief Engineer from 1986 to 2012. Since 2013, they have been working at TerraSource Global as a Senior Project Manager.

Donald E. Stief obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mineral Preparation from Penn State University, where they studied from 1960 to 1965.
