Ashraf Aly is a seasoned compliance professional with a robust background in risk management and regulatory practices across various financial services organizations. Currently serving as Group Head of Compliance at TerraPay since September 2022, Ashraf previously held the position of Director of Compliance at Careem and has extensive experience as Head of Compliance, MLRO, and DPO at iwoca. Earlier roles include Risk and Compliance Manager at RateSetter and Senior Associate at PwC, where Ashraf specialized in Conduct Risk within the Financial Services Regulatory Practice. Ashraf’s career began at Lloyds TSB, transitioning from a Personal Banker to a Collections Agent.
