Karen Faulk RHIA CHPS is an experienced professional with a robust background in health informatics and compliance. Currently serving as the HIPAA Compliance Coordinator and Health Informatics Analyst at Wood County Hospital since October 2014, Karen oversees adherence to HIPAA regulations and facilitates coordination across various departments. Additionally, as an Adjunct Faculty member at Terra State Community College since October 2012, Karen educates students in Medical Coding, Health Record Law, and Medical Terminology. Prior experience includes the role of Revenue Integrity Coordinator at Wood Health Company, where Karen developed workflows for revenue capture and provided education on coding and documentation. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, specializing in Health Information Management, obtained from the University of Cincinnati between 2012 and 2014.
