Javier Fernandez is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security and IT compliance. Currently serving as the Global Cybersecurity Director at Ternium since November 2015, Javier Fernandez oversees information security, regulatory IT controls, and SOX IT certification. Previously, Javier held roles at Ternium Siderar, focusing on risk management and IT compliance, and served as Project Leader in the Security Information Department. Earlier career experience includes positions as Project Leader at EDS and Business Consultant at gedas Argentina. Javier Fernandez holds a degree from Universidad Abierta Interamericana and has further education from IAE Business School.
